Netwalks

What happens when you mix walking and networking?

You get a Netwalk.

Fresh air, gentle exercise, great company and potentially the chance to explore somewhere new.

Followed by coffee, cake and a chat at an independent coffee shop.

Can’t make the walk? Join us for coffee afterwards.

For everyone

Our Netwalks are a gentle stroll. Nothing too strenuous. Usually around the 2.5-3km mark.

There’s no charge to come.

Dogs welcome on all walks and at most coffee venues afterwards. Small people in pushchairs welcome too.

Bringing the community together to reduce loneliness, improve mental health and create connections.

    https://w3w.co/repair.dairy.chains

  • Tuesday 19th May

    Greenwood Park

Totally hedging my bets here – if the bluebells at Heartwood aren’t out in April, the ones in Greenwood may be in May! Coffee at the Lazy Llama Cafe – mainly because the biscoff brookie is epic

  • Thursday 11th June

    Clarence Park

Whilst the parking can be a bit of a challenge, the ice cream at Verdi’s is well worth the walk

  • Thursday 8th July

    Sopwell

One day I’ll actually nail the route round the ruins so we can have a good look around. Apparently it wasn’t really a Nunnery… random facts to come on the day. Coffee at The Garibaldi

The walk where someone is always away. Route to be confirmed

    Topper Trail

What’s a December Netwalk without a stomp around the amazing toppers created by St Albans Postboxes?!

    Coffee at Artoplasia

We’re always looking to partner with businesses to sponsor the coffee and cake at our netwalks. If you’d like to get involved, drop us an email to netwalks@thecuriousmentor.com

Want to come?

Sign up here please – so we know who to expect and to help us make sure there’s enough cake.

We’ll be setting off at 10am so please arrive a few minutes early – except in August when it’s 7pm.

If the weather is truly disgusting, there will be a shorter walk and/or a very very quick walk straight to the coffee!

Any other questions? Drop us an email: netwalks@thecuriousmentor.com
